## What Is Tap.Giving?

Tap.Giving sells custom-printed NFC (Near Field Communication) plates that churches mount on pews, chairs, or walls. When a congregant taps their smartphone on the plate, it instantly opens the church's existing giving page in their phone's browser. No app download, no account creation, no QR code scanning — just tap and give.

Tap.Giving is hardware, not software. We are not a payment processor. Churches keep whatever giving platform they already use (Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, Donorbox, Subsplash, Planning Center, Anedot, Realm, or any platform with a web giving URL). Our plates simply provide a new physical entry point to their existing giving system.

NFC (Near Field Communication) giving allows churchgoers to donate by tapping their smartphone on an NFC-enabled plate. The tap opens the church's giving page directly in the phone's browser — no app download or account creation required.

**Does Tap.Giving process payments?**
No. Tap.Giving sells the NFC hardware. Payment processing happens through whatever giving platform the church already uses (Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, etc.). We are hardware, not software.

**What phones work with NFC giving?**
Every iPhone since iPhone 7 (2016) and most Android phones since 2015 have NFC built in. This covers over 95% of smartphones in use today.

**Is NFC giving secure?**
Yes. NFC plates simply open a URL — the same as typing a web address into a browser. All payment processing happens through the giving platform's secure, PCI-compliant checkout. No financial data touches the NFC chip.

**How long do the plates last?**
NFC chips have no battery and no moving parts. They last essentially forever. The printed plates are durable and designed for long-term mounting.

**Can the URL be changed later?**
If plates are shipped unlocked, yes — you can reprogram them with any NFC writing app. If locked, the URL is permanent (recommended for security).

**What's the minimum order?**
