How this fits with tap-to-give plates
We make NFC tap-to-give plates. We are not a payment processor and we never touch a donation. A plate on the back of a seat simply opens whatever giving page your church already uses.
So if your giving runs through SimplyGiv, the plates point at your SimplyGiv page. Someone taps in the service, your form opens on their phone, and the gift lands in the same donor record, the same fund and the same report as every other channel. Nothing about your processing changes and there is no second system to reconcile.
SimplyGiv already offers QR code giving, and a tap is the same idea with the camera step removed: no app, no scanning, no asking anyone to get their phone out and aim it. The two sit happily on the same plate, which is exactly how ours are printed.
