What phones work with NFC tap-to-give plates?
All iPhones from iPhone 6 and newer, and Android phones running 4.4 (KitKat) or later. NFC is standard on virtually all modern smartphones. No app download is required — just tap and your phone opens the giving page automatically.
Do I need to switch giving platforms?
No. Tap.Giving plates work with whatever giving platform your church already uses — Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, Donorbox, Anedot, Subsplash, or any platform with a web URL. We encode your existing giving page URL into each plate.
How do the plates attach to pews or chairs?
Every plate includes an adhesive back for easy pew mounting. We also offer pre-drilled holes for screw mounting and elastic bands for chairs without flat surfaces. Most churches use the adhesive option — just peel and stick to the back of each pew or seat.
Are there monthly fees or transaction fees?
No. Tap.Giving is a one-time hardware purchase. There are no setup fees, no monthly subscription, and no transaction fees from us. Your giving platform may charge its own processing fees, but we don't add anything on top.
Can the plates be customized with our church logo?
Yes. Every order includes custom printing with your church's logo, name, and branding. We request a vector file (AI, PDF, or SVG) of your logo for the best print quality. Plates are 4 inches (100mm) in diameter.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order is 100 plates. Volume discounts are available: 100–199 plates at $4.50 each, 200–399 at $4.00 each, and 400+ at $3.50 each. Shipping is free on all orders.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 3–5 weeks. This includes custom artwork approval, production, and shipping. We'll keep you updated with tracking information throughout the process.
What's the difference between NFC plates and QR codes?
NFC tap-to-give is 42x more effective than QR codes for engagement. With NFC, congregants simply tap their phone — no camera app, no scanning, no typing a URL. It's faster, more intuitive, and works even for less tech-savvy members. Our plates can also include a QR code as a fallback option.
