Large Rectangle Tap Sign
5.5 × 4.1″ (140 × 104 mm)
About the size of a postcard
Tap.Giving’s 5.5 × 4.1″ NFC tap sign is our largest size, made for church giving stations, foyer stands and table tents. One tap opens your giving page, no app needed, and there is room for a short instruction line as well as your mark.

Where it works
Signage: a giving station, a foyer stand, a table tent. Enough surface for an instruction line as well as the mark.
Stands, desks and smooth surfaces
3M adhesive backing, standard
3M adhesive tape is on the back, so it is peel and press onto a clean, smooth surface, a sign holder or a stand. No tools, nothing to drill.
When seating takes neither tape nor screws
Move the giving point to a desk or table
The large rectangle is made for exactly this: a giving station or foyer stand that people walk up to, with room for a line telling them what to do.
Metal chairs, railings or fixtures
Add anti-metal shielding, $1 per sign
NFC will not read through metal, so a sign mounted flat on metal needs a shielding layer behind the chip. It is charged only on the ones that actually go on metal.
How it mounts, up close
A real photo of our standard backing, shown on a round plate. This size ships with the same tape.
Specifications

|---|---|
| Material | Double-laminated PVC, 0.85 mm thick. Waterproof and dustproof, and thin enough to sit flush rather than stick out like a puck. |
| Printing | Your church’s artwork on every one. You see a proof of your own design before anything is made. |

Common questions
When is the large rectangle the right choice?
When the plate is the sign: a giving station, a foyer stand, a table tent. There is room for a short instruction line next to your logo. It is also the right answer when your seating takes neither tape nor screws, so the giving point moves to a desk or a table instead.
How does it attach?
3M adhesive is our standard mounting, peel and press onto a clean, smooth surface. Tell us where it is going when you ask for a quote and we will make sure it suits.
Will it work on metal?
Only with the on-metal option. NFC will not read through metal, because the phone’s field induces currents in the metal instead of powering the tag, so the tap does nothing at all. The on-metal version adds a ferrite shield behind the chip, for $1 per sign on just the ones that go on metal.
Can someone change where it points?
Not by tapping it. Our plates ship locked by default, so the link written to the chip cannot be overwritten. If you would rather be able to rewrite it yourself later, ask for unlocked when you order.
Do we have to switch giving platforms?
No. A tap opens a web page, so it points at whatever you already use: Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, Subsplash, Planning Center, a Church Center link or your own website. Tap.Giving sells the hardware, not the processing, and takes nothing per gift.
Other sizes
Every shape holds the same chip and opens the same page. Compare them all on the products page.
