For churches running a capital campaign

Tap to give for capital campaigns

A capital campaign asks a whole church to do one big thing together, over months or years. The campaigns that stall usually do not stall on vision. They stall because giving to the campaign takes effort at the exact moments people feel most ready. A disc on every pew puts the campaign page one tap away from every seat, at every service, for the life of the campaign.

  • One tap from the seat to your campaign page
  • No app, no account, no cash for the giver
  • Point every disc at the campaign, then back, in seconds

See your own disc and price on the next page. No charge until checkout.

Tap-to-give discs are custom NFC discs mounted on pew backs and chair backs. During a capital campaign, every disc points at the church's campaign page: a member taps a phone on the disc and the pledge or campaign giving page opens, with no app and no typing. Discs cost $5.00 each for 100 to 199, $4.00 for 200 to 399, and $3.50 for 400 or more, one time, no monthly fees, and the free Redirect Dashboard repoints every disc when the campaign ends.

  • One disc per seat: the whole room can respond at once
  • Works with the giving platform you already use
  • Free Redirect Dashboard: campaign page now, regular giving later
  • Built to stay up for a multi-year campaign: waterproof, rigid PVC
  • Minimum order 100, free shipping worldwide, 30-day guarantee

A campaign lives or dies in the room

Consultants, mailers, and banquet nights all matter. But a campaign is funded week after week, in the room, by ordinary members. That is where tap is essential, for four reasons.

Campaigns run on participation, not just big gifts.

Every campaign leader knows the number that predicts success is how much of the church gives, not only how much the largest donors give. Participation dies on friction: a pledge card to find, a website to remember, a form to do later. Later is where campaign gifts go to die. A tap takes seconds, in the seat, while the commitment is fresh, so the small and middle gifts a campaign is built on actually happen.

The commitment moment is in the service.

Campaigns build to moments: the vision sermon, commitment Sunday, the first-gift offering. Those moments happen in the room, with phones in pockets and the campaign page nowhere in sight. Discs close that gap. When the pastor says "you can respond right now," the whole room genuinely can, at the same time, without a card, a pen, or a line at a table afterward.

A campaign lasts years. The discs stay up for all of it.

A building campaign runs two to three years of pledge fulfillment, and momentum fades between the launch events. The discs do not fade. They sit in front of every member at every service for the entire campaign, a permanent, quiet invitation. Point them at the pledge page at launch, the campaign giving page during fulfillment, a milestone update page during a push, and the celebration page at the end, all from the free dashboard, with no reprinting.

Guests and big Sundays feed the campaign too.

Christmas, Easter, and campaign event Sundays fill the room with people who have no giving habits at your church and will not create accounts. They will tap. Vision nights, tours, and banquets get the same treatment with table stands pointed at the campaign page for the night.

Three steps, on the platform you already use

  1. 1. The member taps their phone on the disc. The chip hands the phone your campaign address.
  2. 2. Your campaign page opens: the pledge form or campaign fund page on the platform you already use (Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, Subsplash, Planning Center, Donorbox, and others, or your own site).
  3. 3. They pledge or give there. Tap.Giving is hardware only, never a payment processor, and takes nothing from any gift.

Every iPhone since the XS (2018) taps with no app; iPhone 7, 8, and X use the reader; Android from 2015 onward works; the printed QR on every disc is the backup path to the same page.

Campaign giving and regular giving, side by side

A common campaign fear is cannibalizing the general fund, or confusing members about where a gift goes. The dashboard answers it: during the campaign, discs point at the campaign page, where the fund choice is explicit. Run a campaign season, then repoint every disc to regular giving the week the campaign closes, in seconds, free, with no cap on changes. Churches that want both at once can encode some discs to each destination, lobby discs to the campaign and pew discs to regular giving, or split by service. The discs are permanent; the destination is a setting.

What do they cost, and why is there no monthly fee?

Discs cost $5.00 each for 100 to 199, $4.00 for 200 to 399, and $3.50 for 400 or more, with a 100-disc minimum and an estimated 2 to 3 weeks from artwork approval.

Campaign tools usually rent by the month for the life of the campaign. Discs are printed hardware, bought once, so there is nothing to subscribe to and nothing still billing you in year three of the pledge period.

  • 100 to 199 discs: $5.00 each
  • 200 to 399 discs: $4.00 each
  • 400 or more: $3.50 each

Minimum order 100. No setup fees, no monthly fees, no per-gift fees. Free design proof with your campaign artwork before production. Free shipping worldwide. Typical turnaround about 2 to 3 weeks from artwork approval (estimate, never a promise). Plan the order against your launch date: artwork approved a month before commitment Sunday is the comfortable window. 30-day money-back guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Can the discs point at our pledge form instead of a giving page?

Yes. The discs open whatever page you set: a pledge form during the commitment phase, the campaign fund page during fulfillment, an update page during a milestone push. You change the destination in the free Redirect Dashboard, and every disc follows instantly.

Will campaign discs cannibalize our regular giving?

The destination is a setting, not a print job. Point discs at the campaign during the campaign season and back to regular giving when it closes, or split destinations by location. The campaign page itself is where the fund choice is made explicit for the giver.

Does Tap.Giving take a percentage of campaign gifts?

No. Tap.Giving sells hardware only and is never in the payment path. Gifts and pledges happen on the platform you already use.

How long do the discs last through a multi-year campaign?

The discs are rigid, double-laminated PVC, waterproof and built for daily wear, with no battery and nothing to charge. They are made to stay mounted for the life of a campaign.

How many discs does a church need for a campaign?

Most order one per seat, so the whole room can respond at once, plus stands for events and lobby tables. The minimum order is 100.

When should we order for a campaign launch?

Work backwards from commitment Sunday. Turnaround is typically about 2 to 3 weeks from artwork approval, as an estimate, so approving artwork about a month before launch is the comfortable window.

What do the discs look like with campaign branding?

Your campaign artwork, printed edge to edge on a 100 mm (4 inch) round, matte PVC disc, 0.85 mm thick. You approve a free proof before anything is printed.
